Professional Bio:Coffee, it's like my shadow...still haven't won. I suppose that is why coffee has found a way of staying in my life, it's a constant challenge. I've operated in almost every job role within the industry of coffee, except as an actual roaster. Beginning at a small mom and pop we all know of, Starbucks. The one and only job I was ever fired from. (...that first job's a doozy). Next was a short stint of working at various cafes which landed me a location in the lobby of a dot.com building around the year 2000. A short year later the dot.bomb industry toppled and I lost 85% of my foot traffic. Thank God my roaster noticed my work ethic and presented me with an offer I could not refuse. Evolving through the ranks with Caffe D'arte I learned more about retail operations then I ever could of gained in a four year college. Tamper in one hand and at the smart advise of a few good friends, I stepped out into the big world of training. That's where Visions Espresso comes in. Together we designed and built a 500 sq.ft space called The Coffee Enhancement Lounge, CEL. Currently I design trainings, teach classes and lease out the space for custom coffee events. Fun Stuff About Me: I play just as hard as I work. Married to my husband Mark for almost 14 years. We have two boys Noah, 7 and Jude, 2. Both keep us young and constantly busy. When the weather permits we love camping, biking, hiking, fishing-love fishing, beach lounging, surfing, skin boarding, singing and more with our family and friends.
