Visions Espresso Service has led the coffee industry with cafe build consultation, equipment sales, competition training, and equipment service for 35+ years. We have an extensive wholesale program, a coffee education and training team, and a large-scale service department for both in-shop and field service equipment repair. We are a great team of coffee industry professionals who are passionate about supporting the coffee industry, all from our beautiful SODO headquarters in Seattle.

 

Role Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Representative who has experience within the coffee industry, either via equipment sales or working in cafes with equipment hands-on. This position can be based at our HQ in Seattle or remotely depending on the candidate and location. This Outside Sales Rep position will manage accounts nationally and be responsible for gaining new accounts while expanding the presence of key products within the industry.


Knowledge and experience with commercial coffee equipment will be key. Mahlkonig, La Marzocco, Slayer Espresso, Nuova Simonelli, Eversys, among many others. Knowledge of these machines will allow the ideal candidate to hit the ground running in terms of features and benefits, availability, value and applicability. This position must be highly organized and motivated to identify and obtain prospective wholesale accounts, maintain and grow relationships, and be a go-to resource for their customers. A strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex strategies and account dynamics will be necessary for success in this role.


While this position is acceptable to be remote, it requires frequent daily interaction with the sales and marketing team at Visions HQ in Seattle.

 

Requirements:
•  Self-motivated, intelligent, dynamic and success oriented.
•  2-5 years experience within the coffee industry and/or coffee equipment field.
•  2 years minimum in a successful sales role with a proven track record of results.
•  Knowledge of coffee equipment resellers, major roasting companies and cafes.
•  A strong commitment to create and develop new business, obtain new accounts and grow revenue, with a concerted effort to support each customer.
•  Ability to develop and manage a busy schedule that includes overnight, weekend and off-hours travel.
•  Experience with CRMs, Quickbooks, Google Applications, Slack etc.
•  Accountable for showing your work, your contacts, increases in revenue and customer base in detail.
•  Daily requirement to update correspondence, progress and sales for each prospective or existing customer to Sales Management.

Compensation:

Annual Salary + Commission DOE: $50,000 - $100,000+
